Rancho Nuevo and Amado Equine Hacienda

Amado Equine Hacienda, LLC operates at Rancho Nuevo in Amado, AZ. Rancho Nuevo was homesteaded back in 1910. It has remained in the family since then. The ranch has operated as a cattle ranch and been farmed since it was first homesteaded.

NRCS Project

We have installed the center pivot...it sure is nice to have an irrigation system that runs with minimal labor. Now, we begin the fencing endeavors. Nine fencelines and 45+ gates for the pivot towers to pass through - should keep us busy over the next year!

Pivot Project

Riding Facilites

We continue to work on improving the riding facilities. The jumping arena that was done January 2007 is wonderful. Even with the monsoon rains we are able to ride and have wonderful footing for the horses. We also have a round pen available for use. The tackroom is finally usable! We are anticipating the restroom facilites will be completed next. Of course, many of us are looking forward to having the dressage arena completed - hopefully near the end of 2008!
